École élémentaire catholique Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau is a Catholic french elementary school in the Barrhaven community of Ottawa, Ontario. It opened in September 2000[2] and was the first school of Ontario to be named after Trudeau.
It was opened to respond to the growing needs of the French-speaking population in the Barrhaven area[2].
In 2008, the school started installing Smart Boards in certain classes to encourage the learning aptitudes of the boys and girls[3]
